11/25/2025 | 13 pages

Last week Signals Research Group (SRG) attended the Mavenir Global Analyst Event, held in relatively balmy Allen, Texas. This issue’s report title has nothing to do with our views pertaining to Mavenir and its evolved corporate strategy, which gets back to the company’s roots while almost entirely shunning Open RAN.

Highlights of the Report include the following:

One All Things AI.  In addition to leveraging AI for internal productivity gains, Mavenir’s three strategic AI pillars are AI for autonomous networks, AI for monetization, and AI for native networks.

NTN.  We highlighted Mavenir’s commitment to NTN following the 2024 event, and we’ll highlight it again. Mavenir brings some interesting and differentiated features to the table. Hopefully, they have the right mix of customers, and they can take advantage of the timing.5G gets panned far more than warranted.

Back on Track.  Without sharing NDA-privileged information, we can attest that Mavenir’s financials are back on track, with the key metrics (revenue, profits, and debt) all trending in the right direction relative to the last few years.

1&1.  Mavenir provides the packet core network to 1&1, an Open RAN operator in Germany with more than 12 million subscribers. We discuss the operator’s transition from primarily being an MVNO to running its own 5G Open RAN network.
